The Princess and the Pea

Class: Nursery Year: 2018-2019

Last week, Year One took part in an interactive musical performance of The Princess and the Pea. We visited the Lighthouse Venue and there were several other schools taking part. We saw lots of different instruments and listened carefully to the storyteller. The children have been learning the songs for the performance since the beginning of the term and they sang absolutely beautifully.

Their behaviour was outstanding and I was very proud of them all for their efforts and hard work. Thank you to parents for sending in the prince and princess costumes – they all looked fantastic.

We are really looking forward to performing the songs to parents too!
