Year 6 2025 - 2026

Mr Houston

Welcome Back, Year 6!

I hope you all had a lovely, relaxing break and that you enjoyed the bonfires and fireworks! It’s wonderful to see you back.

We’ve got lots to look forward to as we continue to work hard and enjoy all aspects of Year 6. In Science, we’ll be learning all about the circulatory system, exploring fascinating questions such as “What is blood made of?” and “Why do we need it?”

Our History and Geography topics will continue as we deepen our understanding of World War II and explore the incredible forces that shape our planet — tectonic plates, volcanoes, and earthquakes.

There’s also plenty of fun ahead as we begin preparations for our Christmas productions, which are always a highlight of the term!

Don’t forget to take a look at our homework project and remember to read regularly at home — every bit of effort counts.

"Work hard, play hard, dream big!"

Mr Houston and Mrs MacLeod
