A warm welcome to Year 5.
Welcome back! I hope you have had a fabulous summer holiday and have come back refreshed and ready for the challenges of Year 5. I am so excited to get to know you all.
I can’t wait to see what you achieve and what you accomplish! We have so much to look forward to this half term. Our History unit will see us studying Ancient Greece, Greek life, their achievements and their influences on the western world.
In Geography, we will be looking at biomes and how they change across the world. We will look at properties of materials in science. We will be working scientifically to seperate materials.
Our main religion in RE this half term is Islam and we will be answering the unit question, 'What does it mean to be a Muslim in Britain today?'
I'm sure we will have a great year ahead! If you have any questions or concerns (moving to a new class can be daunting) please come and see me.
