Harvest Celebrations

Class: Nursery Year: 2018-2019

As part of our Harvest celebrations, we have read the book, ‘Oliver’s vegetables’. We have talked about how Harvest is celebrated and we have investigated how fruit and vegetables are harvested. The children have been using potato peelers to peel vegetables this week. We were very careful and did some excellent peeling! On Friday we made some delicious vegetable soup. We really enjoyed it, the children shared their thoughts on the soup... “It was delicious”, said Molly. “It’s orange!” exclaimed Kayal. “It’s nice” said Megan.
