ZooLab visit in Nursery
Date: 23rd Apr 2026 @ 8:50am
We had a very exciting visit from ZooLab in our Nursery this week, and it was a wonderful hands-on learning experience for all the children.
During the session, the children had the opportunity to meet a variety of fascinating animals, including snakes, gerbils, cockroaches, a giant African land snail, and even a tarantula. The session was engaging and informative, helping the children to learn more about different habitats, diets, and how to care for living creatures.
The children were exceptionally well behaved throughout the visit. Many of them showed great confidence and curiosity, with some even choosing to hold or gently touch the animals. It was lovely to see their excitement and hear the thoughtful questions they asked.
Experiences like this help to build children’s understanding of the natural world and encourage respect for all living things. We are very proud of how the children conducted themselves and how enthusiastically they took part.
A big thank you to ZooLab for such an enjoyable and memorable visit!
