Year 3 Egyptian Escape Room Adventure

Date: 1st Jul 2021 @ 2:17pm

As a reward for all their hard work and courage throughout this year, it was only right that the children were given a special day to enjoy.

Today, they had the opportunity to take part in an exciting Ancient Egyptian Escape Room Adventure.  The quest had every child trapped inside the belly of an ancient pyramid, desperately searching for clues, solving puzzles and opening numbered padlocks in order to get more clues to gain the ultimate prize...The Golden Cobra.  It was touch and go for a moment.  Would the children solve the riddles? Would they escape the curse? Or would they be trapped in history for eternity?  Unfortunately, all the children managed to escape and you are now stuck with them but they had a great time solving the quest together.

During the day, the children made a 3D mummy, complete with its own sarcophagus, created a pyramid and enjoyed the delights of a booklet full of fun activities.

In the afternoon, we sat in the glorious sunshine and enjoyed a picnic.  I was surprised to have my apple stolen from under my nose and the fact that I sat in some bird poop was the cause of some amusement. But, despite my disappointments, the children had a wonderful time.  As usual their behaviour was excellent.

Please enjoy the photos, a great reminder of our special day.
