Year 2 Flying Fish Experiment

Date: 9th Mar 2021 @ 5:05pm

Being Scientists

In Year 2, we are being scientists.  We are asking questions, observing and wondering, listening to and sharing ideas, using different equipment and conducting experiments to explore the world around us.

Last week we conducted an experiment where we made a 'straw rocket' which we thoroughly enjoyed.  This week we made some flying fish.  We thought about air resistance and gravity but mainly we decided how to make a fair test.  We had lots of fun and learned new things.

In our science lessons over the next two weeks we are going to be doing more experiments.  We cannot wait!
