Year 2 Floating Plasticine Experiment

Year 2 have been having even more fun this week doing yet another experiment.  They wanted to test to see if they could make a piece of plasticine float.  They decided to change the shape of the plasticine and observe what happened. They all thought that a boat or a raft shape would not sink but they soon realised that the shape that actually floated was a bowl shape.  The looks of wonderment, when they made their plasticine float, were priceless!
