Y6 Leavers' Garden Party

On Tuesday 14th July, 2020, our Year 6 pupils had a fantastic time at their garden party. The sun did not shine but it stayed dry and boy did they have some fun!

Who says that you can't have fun whilst socially distancing?! 

The old ones are the best...Sweet Caroline and the Macerana had them all singing and dancing on the school field .

There were sweets, popcorn and crisps galore and we even had  McDonalds and KFC delivered thanks to some very kind mums - I've never seen the children's faces light up so much!

All in all, it was a brilliant afternoon and a lovely way to mark the end of year for our leavers. They have missed out on some of the exciting end-of-year activities that we normally have but their return to school has definitely been a fun and positive experience and we're pleased that so many of them have decided to return to us.
