Welcome to Year 2!

I am so happy to have you in my class once again this year!  I am sure it will be an exciting year ahead where we will do lots of excellent learning but have lots of fabulous fun too! 

Our school motto is ‘We can do all things’.  And we can do all things because we follow the ‘Wardley Way’.  In Year 2, we ‘respect’ and ‘trust’ one another, we show ‘courage’ and ‘perseverance’ in everything we do and we share ‘friendship’ with everyone.

Therefore, our Year 2 classroom is a lovely place to be and to learn:  we value and support each other; we are positive, work hard and never give up; and we enjoy our school day, alongside all of our friends.

Below is a picture of our classroom. It has been set out like this, which is a little different, to keep you all safe.

This is the front door of Year 2, in the quadrangle, and this is where you will come to at the start of the day.  It is also where your parents/carers will pick you up from at the end of the day.  It is the door on the righthand side facing the Nursery door.  

Together with you and your parents/carers we can make Year 2 a place where we achieve, have fun and share lots of excitement all year round.
