Dear Parents and Carers,

What a fantastic start we’ve had to the new academic year in Year 6! The children have returned to school looking incredibly smart and full of energy. It’s been a joy to see their happy faces around the school.

We have held our first collective worship, and the children were an absolute delight. They sang our school anthem with pride and joy. They are a real credit to you all!

Please take a moment to visit our Year 6 class page. You’ll find the curriculum letter for this half term and details about the homework project. We’ll be updating these pages regularly with news on what your child is learning, along with photos and blog posts about various activities and events.

Information has already been sent out regarding applying for a secondary school place - the deadline is the 31st October 2025.

Thank you so much for your continued support in helping us get the year off to such a positive start. We hope you all have a lovely weekend, and we look forward to welcoming the children back on Monday for their first full week, where lessons will be in full swing.
