Hello Year 5

I hope you are all well.  The day promises to be another hot one.  

A huge shout out to Layla, Heidi, Leo, Olivia, Kian, Sianne, Bella, Amelia, Tom, George, Larisa, Blake, Ella who completed their Mathletics tasks so far this week.  Today’s tasks are multiples and factors. 

Well done to Bella, who has completed and uploaded her Maya bracelet design, which is the craft task for the week.  Don’t worry, the deadline for this is the end of the week.

I have also added a topic for our class discussion.  I would like to know your thoughts on animals being in captivity.  We have had some insightful comments so far.

Under the homework section on School Spider, I have uploaded a writing task about the Maya myth Hero.
