The Police come to Wardley

Nursery and Reception had some special visitors today… Two police officers came into school to talk to us about their role!

We learnt about the different ways the police keep us safe, tried on different parts of the police uniform and even got to climb into the police van. The children loved it when they turned on the blue lights and siren for us.

In the afternoon, the Nursery children worked together to build a police car using bits of recycling. We remembered to include all of the parts of the police car that we saw this morning.
