The farm comes to Wardley!

On Wednesday, we had some very special visitors in school. Little Barn Mobile Farm came to school, with all their wonderful animals! We met Nacho the Sheep, Lynsey and June the ducks, some lambs, a calf and some rabbits.
We talked to Natalie the farmer about life on her farm and she told us how she takes care of the animals. The children came up with some wonderful questions to ask. They each then had a turn at feeding the calf and lambs their breakfast and holding the ducks and rabbits.
We all had a fantastic time. The children behaved very sensibly around the animals and were very careful when holding them.
