I just wanted to let you know that Team 1 have settled into school brilliantly!

In class, we have been exploring how our brains grow when we learn. The children have enjoyed discovering that our brain cells make new connections every time we learn something new or practise a skill. We have also been learning that mistakes help our brains grow too, and that making mistakes is an important part of the learning process.

We have also been talking about how everyone is on their own unique learning journey. Some children may feel more confident in maths, while others may find handwriting easier, and that is perfectly okay. We are learning not to compare ourselves with others, but instead to focus on our own progress and think about how we can improve each day.
