Salford Schools' Athletics Competition

Our Year 6 athletes represented Wardley brilliantly at the Salford Schools' Athletics Competition on Tuesday. Competing against some of the very best young athletes from across Salford, our team performed magnificently and made the whole school proud.

Despite the challenging weather conditions and the intense heat, every athlete gave their all and showed incredible determination, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the day. The hot temperatures certainly tested everyone, but they did not stop our pupils from performing at their very best.

There were excellent performances across all events, with many children achieving impressive results. We are sure there were several personal bests recorded along the way! Most importantly, every member of the team demonstrated a fantastic attitude, supporting one another and representing Wardley with pride.

While medals and placings are always exciting, the real success of the day was seeing our pupils compete with confidence, commitment and enthusiasm. We could not be prouder of their efforts and the way they conducted themselves throughout the competition.

Well done to all of our athletes for a truly outstanding afternoon of athletics!
