Reception 28.04.20

Date: 28th Apr 2020 @ 8:16am

Morning =)

How are you all? Have you all been helping the adults in your house with any jobs? You were all very helpful when we would tidy the classroom =)

Maths
I set my niece the time diary challenge and she created a little movie of herself moving the hands and telling me what she does at different points of the day. It was lovely to see and she had so much fun making it that I know the learning will have stuck.
I have uploaded some time challenges for you to complete. We will stick with o’clock to begin with and then move on to half past the hour later on in the week. I must stress that the children need to know the difference between day and night and that different things happen at different times of the day.

History
This half term we would have been looking at the past and present. We would have been looking at new and old ways to travel in particular.
I have attached an upload to sort old and new transport and I will be setting some different challenges over the coming weeks to do with this theme.

Enjoy everyone!
