Year 6 Prayer Stations with the Yrs 1 - 5

Our Year 6 Worship Leaders led this afternoon's prayer stations in their usual calm, supportive and spiritual manner. 

All pupils from Year 1 - Year 5 were invited to spend time at the stations along with some of our governors and Father Jeremy. 

The Worship Leaders led each station with a Bible quote which asked the children to reflect upon an aspect of God's glorious creation or upon people who play an important role in their lives. 

The children then had time to reflect upon the task explained to them. These included writing a prayer about someone they care about, reflecting on images and how they made them feel, thanking God for the things around us and thinking about any worries or concerns that they may have and then blowing these burdens away. 

Although a calm and reflective environment, the children were smiling and appreciative of their time at the prayer stations. 

They are all looking forward to returning next term. 

A huge well done to our Year 6 Worship Leaders who did a magnificent job; the way they engaged with our younger pupils was pure joy to see.
