Courageous Advocates October 2021

Date: 13th Oct 2021 @ 3:21pm

Each half term, we invite pupils from across the school to speak up about things that are important to them, things they are passionate about and things that they want to see change. As always, we were super pleased to see that some of our pupils stepped forwards to speak out to the rest of the school. All of our courageous advocates had one thing in common; they all wanted to make a change and help preserve our beautiful planet.

As a result of their passionate and persuasive speeches, we have decided to follow up on their ideas with a Prayer Space next week. Each class will be visited by some of our wonderful senior pupils who will encourage the children to reflect upon the messages delivered by our courageous advocates. Each child will then be invited to write a prayer or reflection about their thoughts from within the prayer space.

Look out for these prayers as you may well see some hanging in God's Garden when you next pass.

A special thank you and well done to Millie, Ava G, Annie, Mollie, Jasmine and Ava S for their excellent presentations; you were all amazing!
