Christmas Fun in Year 3

Date: 10th Dec 2025 @ 10:23am

It's Christmas Time in Year 3.

Over the last couple of weeks, the children in Year 3 have been extremely busy practising their lines and songs for their Christmas Nativity.

Today, they sang wonderfully, spoke so clearly and really enjoyed the experience of the stage. A special mention to the children who overcame their initial fears and gave it a go. I have attached some photographs for you to enjoy.  I hope you took home a programme to remember this event.

Thank you for all your efforts helping them learn their lines.  It is very much appreciated.

The children thought:

“Amazing. We smashed it!”

“It was really enjoyable singing the songs.”

“It was a blast!”

“I was a bit scared but I showed courage and liked it in the end.”

“I was proud of myself and my mum had happy tears.”

“Our friends and families were proud that we accomplished an amazing show for everyone.”

“I was nervous at first but I’m glad I did it.”

“It was nice to see all our families at the end.”

Over the next few days, we will have our Christmas Jumper Day, Christmas Dinner and will be enjoying a Christmas party and Christmas films.

And it doesn't stop there. During the last week, there will be no spellings or times tables to learn...Ho! Ho! Ho!  We will be making popcorn, rocky roads and pepparkakor as well as fabulous Christmas cards to end busy half term.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
