Did you know that mosquitoes carry malaria?  Malaria is an extremely dangerous disease that affects people in poorer parts of the world.  It is caused when a person is bitten by a mosquito carrying the disease.  It kills over 1 million people every single year. It kills a child every 30 seconds.

But what can we do to help fight malaria?  What can we do to stop people dying?

On Friday 14th May, we will be having a non-uniform day.  Money will be raised to buy mosquito nets to protect these people from being bitten by mosquitoes and contracting malaria.

A single net only costs
