Book Appeal

Date: 18th Mar 2021 @ 10:38am

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We have spent the last week sorting out our school reading books and are currently replenishing our reading corners. We have noticed that quite a few books have gone missing and some classes are running really low on book choices. Could we kindly ask that you check at home to make sure that you don’t have any school reading books lying around.

Our Book Appeal:

Below, we have listed some of our more popular book choices and we would like to ask that if you have any copies at home, which are in good, reusable condition, if you would kindly donate them to school. I have had a few parents who have offered to buy a book from the list to donate to the school – which would also be greatly appreciated if anyone should wish to do so. You can do this by donating to our book appeal via the school gateway or you can purchase a copy of the book yourself and send it in to school.

Reading is such an important part of a child’s development and we are very keen to get regular reading and a love of books back in to our everyday, school life.

If anyone is willing to help us out, please send any copies of the listed books – new or old – to Mrs Walker in Year 6.

Many thanks in advance for your support and kindness.

Mrs K. Walker
