Anxiety Workshop Success

Date: 5th Mar 2026 @ 2:34pm

We have just held a very successful Anxiety Workshop for parents and carers, delivered by the team at I-Reach. It was wonderful to see so many people attend and engage in such an important topic.

During the session, we discussed how anxiety is a normal human experience and something that everyone can feel at times. The workshop helped parents and carers understand anxiety better, including why it happens and how it can affect children.

The I-Reach team also explored how anxiety can show up in the body, helping adults recognise the physical and emotional signs children may experience when they are feeling worried or overwhelmed.

Most importantly, the session provided practical strategies to support children with their worries and help build their confidence. Parents and carers were given helpful ideas and tools that can be used at home to support children in managing anxious feelings.

I have also included the information sheet from the workshop to help everyone remember the tips and strategies that were shared.

We would like to say a big thank you to the I-Reach team for delivering such an informative and supportive workshop, and also thank you to all the parents and carers who came along and took part. Your support and engagement makes a real difference in helping children feel safe, confident and supported.

We look forward to offering more opportunities like this in the future.

Love from Ms Mitchell x
