Year 6 Ambition Day – Dress for Success! 

Today, Year 6 celebrated our exciting Ambition Day, and what a fantastic day it was! The classroom was transformed into a world of future professionals, as children arrived dressed as their dream careers.

We had an incredible range of ambitions on display – from doctors, wildlife photographers, entrepreneurs and vets.

Researching Our Dream Jobs

Throughout the day, pupils explored:

• The key skills needed for their chosen career

• The qualifications and training required

• The personal qualities that help someone succeed

• The steps they would need to take from Year 6 onwards

We were so impressed with the thoughtful research that went into understanding different career paths. Many children discovered that achieving their dream job will require dedication, resilience and hard work — but they were excited to take on the challenge!

Looking Ahead

Ambitions Day reminded us that the journey to success starts now. By working hard, believing in ourselves and supporting one another, we can all take steps towards achieving our dreams.

We are so proud of Year 6 for their enthusiasm, creativity and aspiration. The future is bright!
