Year 3 Remote Learning on Google Classroom

Dear Parents, carers and children,

During this term, there is a chance that our Year 3 bubble may be asked to isolate at home.  With this in mind, it is important that we begin to use Remote Learning through Google Classroom. We will be using Google Classroom to communicate through the time we are at home. 

So, I am hoping that, over the next few weeks, we can practise making a video call, a chat and complete short tasks so that we all become experts together and be prepared.  Not only will you be able to help yourself but also your friends and teachers in Year 3.

Firstly, please log on to Google Classroom, using your username and password.  This is simply to check if you can log on.  Then, have a go at completing the Remote Learning Task which relates to next week’s spellings. The children have all been shown where this is and what it looks like.

Every week, I will upload the weekly spellings for ALL the children to complete.  Follow the instructions and I will send them back with a comment and a Good to be Green sticker when they get back to class.   

Next week I will be hosting the second group of children on a video call. They know who they are.  The remaining children will receive a letter next week so do not worry.
