Year 6 Thursday 21st May

Date: 21st May 2020 @ 8:10am

Good morning Year 6 I hope yesterday went well and you enjoyed the amazing weather. I played my first round of golf yesterday (with my son Sam) and thoroughly enjoyed getting out on the course again. Unfortunately, it’s not supposed to be quite as nice today but if you can get outside and get some fresh air it always helps – whatever the weather

Thursday's task...when you're ready, are the following:

1. Mathletics and Spellodrome

2. 5 A Day

3. BBC Bitesize – Maths & English games and quizzes

4. New writing task – todays writing task is to persuade someone to buy something that is impossible to sell like, ‘uncomfortable shoes made of metal’ or ‘a drinks bottle made of paper’; be inventive, creative and make Mrs Walker and I smile

5. Craft Task – Medusa – some amazing work has already been posted on this topic

6. Film reviews – surely you have watched something be it good or bad

7. Discussion – your favourite book and why you enjoyed it

8. READ - even if it's only for 20 minutes.

Thank you, as always, to those of you who have uploaded comments and work...keep them coming. I know that many of you are keeping your work safe and sound in the book that I gave you before we finished, which is great.

Have a wonderful Thursday.

Take care and be safe
