Year 4 Chester trip

Date: 7th Oct 2019 @ 4:46pm

Well, Year 4 had a wonderful day at the Dewa Roman experience! After arriving at the museum, we were spoken to about the life of a Roman soldier and found out how they ate, washed and even went to the toilet… We then were taken to the archaeological site and saw parts of old Roman buildings that were almost 2000 years old!

After lunch, we were taken on a walk around Chester by a Roman soldier. We were taught some Latin and marched in formation whilst chanting. We even watched Miss Hay and Mrs Evans fighting like gladiators in the remains of the amphitheatre! We all had a brilliant time and the children were very well-behaved. Well done Year 4.
