Our first day back at school was a special Wellbeing Day, inspired by the NHS Five Ways to Wellbeing. Our whole-school focus was “Keep Learning”, reminding us that trying new things and building new skills helps our minds stay happy and healthy.
Every class took part in a full day of activities designed to be fun, meaningful and supportive of our wellbeing. Children enjoyed teaching each other their own dance routines, heading out on nature walks to notice signs of the season and share their observations, discovering new and interesting facts about one another and listening to stories all about bravery and trying something new.
It was wonderful to see the entire school community learning together, encouraging one another and starting the term with such positivity and care for our wellbeing.
