Wellbeing Day: Connect

Date: 27th Feb 2024 @ 1:08pm

Hello parents and carers,

We're thrilled to share the success of our recent Wellbeing Day at Wardley. The first day back at school was dedicated to promoting wellbeing and easing any anxiety for our children. The theme of the day was "Connect" and it was linked to one of the five ways of wellbeing that we are implementing here at our school.

The Wellbeing Day was a triumph! Our children participated in a variety of activities designed to help them connect with one another across all year groups. Building these connections is essential for creating a positive and supportive environment for everyone at Wardley.

The children engaged in activities that fostered teamwork, respect, and understanding among their peers. We are delighted to see the bonds of friendship and collaboration being strengthened through these meaningful experiences.

We believe that a strong sense of connection and belonging has a lasting impact on the wellbeing of our pupils. By providing opportunities for them to connect and interact in a positive and supportive manner, we are continuing to lay the foundation for a thriving and inclusive school community.

We are committed to promoting wellbeing, not just on Wellbeing Day, but throughout the entire school year. We look forward to continuing to implement initiatives that prioritise the wellbeing of our children and foster a sense of belonging for all. We're excited to share this journey with you.

Love from,

The Wardley Team
