Wardley's Wellbeing Day

Date: 16th Apr 2024 @ 2:20pm

At Wardley, the first day back after a holiday is not just any ordinary day—it's a day dedicated to wellbeing. This special occasion is designed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, easing any worries that children may have as they return to school.

Our Wellbeing Day centred around the theme of 'Give' from the five ways of wellbeing, emphasising the importance of generosity, kindness and connection.

All classes took part in meaningful activities aimed at nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. This included activities, such as: crafting colourful notes with heartfelt compliments for their friends; giving to nature by planting seeds in which they will harvest their fruit; making thank you cards to show their appreciation; and listening to uplifting stories full of positivity.

May the lessons of giving and the joys of nurturing continue to blossom within us, guiding us towards a future filled with kindness, connection, and wellbeing.
