EDIT: Spellodrome is playing ball so I have changed your spellings (phew!)

Good morning Year 4!

I hope you had a great day yesterday. I was in school with Mrs Powis and we did some exercise with Joe Wicks, some pop art and played outside in the sunshine. I have also been ringing home to speak to you about how you are getting on. It was lovely to speak to some of you yesterday! If I've not managed to ring yet, don't worry, I am making my way through our class and will try and get through to you when I'm next in school.

Our work for this week:

Mathletics- I have set 2 new tasks about multiplication and division for you to do today. Well done on Mathletics so far, we are doing brilliantly!

Maths No Problem!- If you are signed up for this, it will be Chapter 7-Money, Lesson 7 today.

Times Tables Rockstars- I would like you to focus on your 6s and 12s this week please.

Spellodrome- I have had a little bit of trouble with Spellodrome this morning! It doesn't seem to want to let me on (nightmare!) so I will keep trying today and fingers crossed, I'll be able to change your spellings soon.

Writing task- I have set you a writing task all about a picture this morning. I will post the picture on this blog but check out the homework task for more detail.

Creative task- I have set a creative task all about a famous Victorian artist called William Morris, I look forward to seeing how you get on.

Discussion task- Our question this week is: Why is it important to stay active? What do you think?

I have also been told about some great lessons on BBC Bitesize about subjects like History, Geography and Science which have little quizzes if this sounds like something that would interest you. I might have a go myself!

Remember, the writing, creative and discussion tasks are what you can be getting on with for the whole week and does not all need to be done today. You just do what you can :) If you do complete everything I set this week then brilliant! But please don't worry if there are some activities you don't manage to do. We all need to stay safe, calm and happy in these uncertain times.

Have a fabulous day!
