Tuesday 28th April

Date: 28th Apr 2020 @ 10:06am

Good morning Year 4,

I was in school yesterday. We played some rounders, did some water colour painting and some maths and english. I was very competitive in the rounders game! Haha!

Well done to Brooke, Ava G, Max, Emilia, Hannah May and Jay on your Mathletic scores yesterday! I have set two more activities for you to do today. Make sure you are keeping up with your times tables too!

Maths- if you have an account for Maths No Problem! you can have a go at TextBook B Money Lesson 2 today.

Reading- I would like to remind you all to be doing a little bit of reading every day. Read stories that you love and you know you are going to enjoy. You could read to an adult or a brother or sister or to yourself before you go to bed. It is an important skill we need to keep practising!

Writing- I have set you a writing task on the homework section. The deadline will be Tuesday 5th May. This is Tuesday next week.

Creative Task- I have also set you a creative task all to do with abstract art focusing on the artist Pier Mondrian. Have a look for more detail on the homework page.

Discussion- I have posted a new discussion for you this week. I enjoyed reading them all last week and I like how you were commenting back to each other. Let's see if we can do that this time too!

Have a great day, take lots of breaks and have fun! I'll post some pictures of the art project below to give you some ideas.

Miss Hay :)
