Thursday 26th March

Good morning Year 5

I hope you all enjoyed the sunshine yesterday and that you spent lots of time outdoors.

Today, I would like you complete your Mathletics tasks and Spellodrome activities - please continue all the great work.  If you have achieved less than 60%, I will reset it so that you can develop your skills and increase your score.  Don’t forget Times Tables RockStars is also there for you.

My sons and I have nearly completed our mountain range.  I have attached a picture (please don’t laugh!)  I hope you have made a start on the writing task using ‘Beowulf’ as inspiration.

There are lots of great learning opportunities online.  A couple are -

  • David Walliams is releasing a free audio story every day.
  • Ben Fogle is broadcasting a live adventure and wilderness class on Instagram every day at 4pm.

Keep busy and I will write again tomorrow.
