Team 1's Learning

This term has been a busy and rewarding time for Team 1 as they've settled into their new school year.

The children have been working hard on their phonics, learning sounds and letters and putting them together to form words and sentences. They've made good progress and are becoming more confident readers.

In maths, we've focused on number bonds. Through various activities, the children are beginning to understand how numbers relate to each other and how they can be added together in different ways.

Our geography lessons have taken us around the world, exploring the continents and oceans through maps and songs. Art lessons have been lively, with the children experimenting with different techniques and colours.

Each day we encourage our children to live by our core values of the Wardley Way. This term we’ve emphasised being a good friend, showing respect, and learning to persevere. The children have been practicing kindness and support for one another.

Overall, Team 1 are growing in confidence and skills. It's a pleasure to watch them learn and develop each week. We look forward to more learning and fun in the next term.
