Today, Year 4 have been investigating substances that can be a solid, liquid and a gas.

They were given an ice cube and watched it melt to turn into a liquid. We then put this water into a kettle and boiled it to see it in the form of a gas. We also used thermometers at different points to measure the temperatures.

The children have done some brilliant writing in their books.
