Red Nose Day!

Date: 18th Mar 2022 @ 3:19pm

The children have learned about the charity ‘Comic Relief’ and how the money they donated will help children. We looked at a little boy called Teddy who was visually impaired and also had cerebral palsy who was now able to attend classes run by a local charity for children with visual impairments. We talked about how resilient Teddy was and how, even though he could not always do things straight away, he tried and tried and tried again.

We practised our resilience by creating origami birds. They were very tricky and they didn’t always go right first time but the children kept going and all did fantastically well!
