Nursery's Art Gallery

Today, our wonderful Nursery children held their very own art gallery!

This week we have been reading the story 'The Dot' by Peter Reynolds. This led us onto learning about the artistic technique 'pointillism' and looking at artwork by two famous artists who use this technique, Georges Seurat and Paul Signac. 

The Nursery children then had a go at creating their own artwork using this technique! They mixed primary colours to create orange, purple and green and then created their very own masterpieces.

Thank you to all the parents and family members who came to look around our art gallery - the children were very proud of their creations and couldn't wait to share them with you all :)
