God bless Queen Elizabeth II

In school today, as many are doing around the world, we haven taken time to think about and share our thoughts about the passing of our beloved queen, Her Majesty Queen Elizabrth II. 

At this sad time, we think about all that she gave to our country and how much happiness she brought into the lives of so many.

The children have shared their thoughts about her and discussed what an inspiration she has been. They will be writing prayers for Her Majesty in class today and will bring them home to share with family.

We listened to a prayer from the Archbishop of Canterbury and reflected on his words. 

"May her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II rest in peace and rise in glory"
