Caring for God's Creation

Over this half-term we are looking at the Christian value of creativity. We started by looking at our wonderful planet and thinking about how we can care for God’s creation. As part of their discussion on this, the children had to think about how they could help to better look after our environment. They had some fantastic ideas:

‘Reduce plastic bags you use by using a bag for life. Reuse clothes that you don’t want by giving them to charity shops. Recycle tins and cans so they can be used by someone else.’ Olivia Y2.

‘You can help the environment by litter picking and walking to school.’ Ellie Y4.

‘You should turn the tap off when you brush your teeth. Also don’t throw away toys, give them to a charity.’ Archie Y5.

‘We can look after our environment by reducing the amount of waste we produce and making sure that we put the right items in the right bin.’ Sophie Y6.
