19.03.21 COLLECTIVE WORSHIP:

Date: 19th Mar 2021 @ 2:22pm

In our collective worship this week we thought about a Bible quote from the book of Hebrews: ‘Do not forget to do good and to help one another....’ As part of their discussion on this, the children had to think about how they could make a difference to our big world. They had some fantastic ideas:

‘I think we can make a difference in our big world by walking more and using cars less.’ James Y2.

‘I think you can make a difference in our big world by donating money to charity and supporting good causes.’ Jack H Y3.

‘You can make a difference in our big world by letting flowers grow in your back garden to help save the bees.’ Brayden Y4.

‘I think that making a difference in our big world does not mean that you have to invent a machine that prevents climate change. It can be as simple as recycling your rubbish or raising money for a good cause. We can all make a difference.’ Annie Y5.

‘I can make a difference in this big world by not using products that contain palm oil as it comes from the rainforest which is then put at risk and animals lose their habitats.’ Heidi Y6.

In addition, the children have also been thinking about our school community and what this means to them. They had to look at what they could do to spread happiness and kindness in our school and we have seen lots of children doing just that over the course of the week.
