NSPCC Workshop

We were lucky enough to have Trained NSPCC volunteers and their mascot, Buddy the speech bubble visit our school today.  They delivered a KS2 assembly, and our class completed a 'Speak Out. Stay Safe.' workshop.

We discussed a number of challenging topics, and the chidlren responded with respect (one of our Wardley Values) and maturity.  The aim was to equip children with the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect. Children were taught to speak out if they are worried, either to a trusted adult or Childline.
